The History tab lists every export in your account, including ones started by schedules, newest first.
Export status
- Queued: waiting to start. Bulk Export runs one export at a time per Zendesk account, so others wait their turn.
- Finding / Fetching / Writing CSV: in progress, with a progress bar and a count.
- Ready: the file can be downloaded.
- Failed: the reason is shown under the status (for example, Zendesk needs to be reconnected).
- Cancelled or Expired: no file is available any more.
Download, cancel and re-run
- Download gets the CSV file.
- Cancel stops an export that is still running.
- Re-run starts the same export again with exactly the same settings and dates.
Email notifications
When an export is ready, you receive an email from Gravity CX with a download link and a summary of the export settings. For scheduled exports, the email goes to the schedule's recipients. Each recipient gets their own personal link.
How long files are kept
Files are available for 7 days. After that the download link stops working, the file is deleted, and the export shows as Expired. Use Re-run if you need it again.
Excel warnings
Excel can open up to 1,048,576 rows and 16,384 columns, with up to 32,767 characters in a cell. If a file goes past one of these limits, History and the email show a warning. For very wide ticket exports, try the Long layout, or narrow the export with a date range or filters.
