Zendesk provides several options for customers needing support. You can choose the option that best suits your needs.
Option 1: Search the Help Centre and Community
- You can find help by searching the Zendesk Help Center, which is managed by Zendesk experts.
- You can also seek assistance from other Zendesk users by asking questions in the Community or commenting on existing articles or posts.
- For instructions on how to comment, refer to the article "How to comment on an article or post".
Option 2: Use the Widget
- This option is recommended for urgent issues or simple, time-sensitive questions.
- For the best experience, sign in to your Zendesk product or the Zendesk Help Center. This allows for personalised answers and access to any unique entitlements.
- To access the widget:
- Click your profile avatar in the upper right-hand corner of any Zendesk product.
- Click Get help.
- You will first interact with Z Bot, a chatbot.
- Z Bot can provide personalised answers, generate information from Help Center articles, and automate some common tasks.
- Follow Z Bot's prompts and phrase your question or issue in a complete sentence for the best results.
- If Z Bot's guidance is insufficient, click No, I still need help to connect with a live agent.
- Z Bot may ask further questions to direct your conversation to the appropriate agent.
- Agent responses will appear in the conversation window.
- If the conversation becomes asynchronous, you will be notified of updates via email.
Option 3: Use the Web Form
- This method is suitable for complex or non-urgent questions or issues, or if you prefer asynchronous communication.
-
To access the web form:
- Sign in to the Zendesk Help Center by clicking Sign in in the upper right-hand corner of the webpage.
- Select Submit a request from your profile menu.
- Choose the Customer support request form and complete the required fields with your details and information.
- Zendesk Customer Support will review your request and respond via email.
- You can read and reply to updates through your email inbox or view and manage your request in the Help Center under My activities > Requests.
