Administrator Required
You need to be a Zendesk Administrator in your instance to access the API settings.
To generate a Zendesk API token, go to the Zendesk API section in your Zendesk's Admin Center and click “Add API token”.
To get to the API settings page in your Zendesk, you can use the url below. Replace the {my_instance_name} with your actual Zendesk instance name:
https://{my_instance_name}.zendesk.com/admin/apps-integrations/apis/zendesk-api/settings
The generated token should be copied and stored securely as it won’t be fully displayed again once saved. Administrators can delete tokens in the Zendesk API section to deactivate them permanently.
